Library Page- Forest Library
The Bedford Public Library System is seeking a well-organized and detail-oriented person to perform clerical duties, primarily checking in and shelving books. The hours will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-6 PM as well as additional hours as needed at the Forest branch.
Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs, sit or stand for long periods of time, climb a step stool, and be able to bend and stoop. Basic computer skills are necessary. Library Page is in pay grade 1 and starts at $13.91/hr.

Library Page- Bedford Central Library
The Bedford Public Library System is seeking a well-organized and detailed oriented person to perform clerical duties, primarily checking in and shelving books, up to 20 hours per week at the Bedford Central Library. The position will be Thursday, Friday, and possibly alternating Tuesday/Saturday each week.
Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs, sit or stand for long periods of time, climb a step stool, and be able to bend and stoop. Basic computer skills are necessary. Library Page is in pay grade 1 and starts at $13.91/hr. Additional benefits include the opportunity to participate in the Commonwealth of VA 457 deferred compensation plan.
